I always wanted a traditional garden, but military life meant that moving would be inevitable.

Thankfully, I saw something beautiful growing up that would continue to call my name. Over the years, I have watched my mom and sister create some of the most beautiful container gardens — or plants in pots.

I planted my first garden when I was in my early 20s, and this was the time I also moved to Italy. I became mesmerized by how a single container could create such a chic, dreamy look. Today, at almost 60, my love for all-things plants hasn’t changed.

I love timeless pieces. I’ve been saying this for a while now because I’m only shopping for pieces that will consistently deliver. I recently collaborated with @annefontaine and I brought some of her clothes with me to Miami. I was reminded of what excites me most about timeless pieces: effortless elegance. The white CANNES Dress is a fitted poplin halter style dress with a large single ruffle. I love the way it looks, and I can think of so many places to take a stroll in this outfit.
The FAHELA Blouse has Anne’s personality all over it. She loves rosettes, and they are a beautiful addition to this halter with a deep V-neckline.
You’ll see me pair the NAHI Jacket with the OKINA Pant. We love a class tuxedo jacket, right? Anne Fontaine’s version features an oversized form and comes in this gorgeous soft yellow. The pants sit high on the waist and include oversized wide legs.
I also love the LORIA pants. They’re made of the same lightweight crepe fabric as the OKINA pant.
