The holiday season is a busy time of year that can leave you feeling tired and crappy. Preparing food, cooking, cleaning, decorating, shopping etc. means long hours of preparation. All of this work can lead to a high level of stress and fatigue, which makes it difficult to sparkle during this festive time of year. About 10 years ago I did some much need soul searching and realized that my quest for perfection made it difficult to fully enjoy the holiday season. At that point I made a vow to approach the holiday with a renewed sense of purpose and focus on what truly mattered. Instead of having every detail “just so” I realized it was the laughter, the togetherness, creating new traditions (like a game of spades to dethrone the reigning champs) that everyone enjoys when they visit our home.
So during this holiday season don’t forget the reason for the season, and don’t forget to be fabulous- SPARKLE FOXES SPARKLE!!

Such true words you spoke! I did the same a while ago and my soul searching revealed that it’s okay if I’m not perfect or everything I do is not perfect. While seeking perfection I realized I wasn’t happy and all I wanted was to be happy, so I refocused. I quickly realized that my perfection doesn’t validate who I am, so there’s no need to be perfect just be true to who you are. I know that I’ve been blessed to have an amazing life, family and friends which God made possible as he was validating who I am. Laugh~Live~Love when you have those three things there’s no need to seek the impossible “PERFECTION”!!

Veronica your comments are very much appreciated. I too feel blessed to have an amazing life surrounded by those I love and by those who love me. I would say that we are both blessed. Happy Holidays!

May I simply just say what a comfort to discover an individual who truly understands what they’re
talking about on the net. You definitely know how to bring an issue to
light and make it important. More people must read this and
understand this side of the story. It’s surprising
you aren’t more popular because you surely have the gift.

Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme with this site.
It’s simple, yet effective. Plenty of times it’s quite challenging to have that “perfect balance” between usability and looks.
I must say you may have done a amazing job using this type
of. Furthermore, the blog loads super quick to
me on Chrome. Outstanding Blog!

Did you build this excellent site yourself? Please reply back as I’m looking to create my own website and want to learn where you got this from or
exactly what the theme is named. Cheers!

Admiring the time and energy you put into your site and detailed information you offer.
It’s awesome to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same unwanted
rehashed information. Fantastic read! I’ve bookmarked your site and I’m including your RSS feeds to my Google
