Now, let’s discuss makeup! Overall, I like to focus on four makeup essentials when doing my daily routine: concealer, foundation, powder and lipstick.
Concealer
With this tool, large pores, age spots or other tiny blemishes have to stand in the background. A concealer is not too different from liquid foundation, but it is thicker and masterful at making things disappear. Be sure to find the right shade of concealer, so that it can do its job. I recommend going to a trusted beauty store.

Foundation
Who doesn’t love a good foundation? Foundation helps to make sure that your face is the same complexion, which can be challenging as seasons change and other conditions affect your skin. It can do other jobs at the same time, too, such as moisturizing your skin and serving as a sunscreen.
My choice: MAC’s Studio Fix Fluid Foundation
Why? It works really well for my oily skin, and it has SPF 15.
Setting Powder
Setting powder keeps foundation in place and shine at minimum while smoothening out any cracks that may show up after applying your foundation. You can also use it to touch up your makeup during the day. Take the time to find a great setting powder that works for you.
My choice: Laura Mercier’s Translucent Loose Setting Powder
Why? It helps my face look camera-ready at all times.
Lipstick
I love to have a bright smile and a beautiful lip color. Lipstick is so much fun because you have so many options, you can switch colors easily, and the right color has tremendous influence. Every woman eventually finds a go-to shade, hoping that the brand always keeps that color in stock.
